A creamy, deep and umami-packed base made with cashews, onions and dried mushrooms. Use it as a base for vegan sauce, creamy pasta dishes, risotto or mushroom soup.
🛒 Ingredients
- 1,200 ml of water

70 g cashew nuts

30g dried mushrooms

1 cube of mushroom bouillonÂ

1 tablespoon soy sauce

½ onion (in wedges or coarse pieces)

2 cloves garlic (lightly crushed or minced)

¼ teaspoon dried thyme
🥄 Procedure
Prepare your ingredients: cut the onion into wedges, crush the garlic, and roughly chop the mushrooms if necessary.
Place cashews, mushrooms, onion, garlic, broth and thyme in the filter basket of the PlanteMalkeren.
Pour water and soy into the container
Run on the hot program.
When the program is finished, pour the mixture into a pot, over the Mac and cheese or bottle. Use it directly as a base in your recipe.
Remember to run the cleaning program afterwards, especially when using onions and mushrooms, as the taste can otherwise be transferred to the next batch.
