Johanne has a large walnut tree in her garden and a husband who eagerly competes with the squirrel to collect them every autumn. This has resulted in a rather large stock of nuts that she doesn't quite manage to use. That's why she made this delicious walnut milk.

🛒 Ingredients

  • The 80 g soaked walnuts
  • 1 tbsp syrup (we have a fructose intolerant person in the family, so honey and dates are out of the question)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla sugar
  • 1 small pinch of salt if you like it

🥄 Procedure

I soak 80g of walnuts for 24 hours, changing the water a few times (this removes the bitter taste). They can easily be left for 48 hours if you don't have time to make the herbal drink after 24 hours.

I pour water halfway between the two lines in the machine.

I make it on the cold program.
